intro & goals

The founder, Adriyan, reached out to me through a recommendation. As someone who has always loved mathematics, I clicked with this project instantly.

Adriyan’s vision was to create a website that shared the academy’s story, values, and detailed information about the course programs. A key feature was a form for parents to request their child’s participation in a course.

Another important goal was to build a learning management system (LMS) where teachers could manage schedules, upload lesson materials, assign homework, and provide reports. Students and parents would also have access to their profiles to view schedules, download materials, submit homework, receive email notifications, and more.

I was lucky to collaborate with one of my best friends, Marina Ilieva, an excellent designer. She chose a warm palette with paper-like elements decorated with charming icons.

The main challenge in developing the website was integrating these decorative elements, but it was absolutely worth it. For a final touch, I added a few subtle animations that made the decorations even more delightful.

Developing the learning management system (LMS) was, unsurprisingly, the biggest challenge. We decided to build it entirely from scratch to meet some very specific functionality requirements that existing systems couldn’t handle. Despite its complexity, the freedom I had with deadlines and the fantastic design collaboration made the process feel incredibly enjoyable.
